TOURS ARE PERSONALIZED to each booking and usually include a drive through scenic mountain habitats on wine estates and wine tastings. Tours are personally driven by Stephan (or with large groups, equally skilled tour guides) in air conditioned 4 wheel drive vehicles.
On request, lunches are prepared from fresh local produce to match estate wines. Guests can also lunch at one of the fine restaurants at the wineries.
Guided walking trails are available.

The following are the standard packages:
HALF DAY TOUR
- 8h30am start with freshly ground coffee at SWITCH coffee roastery, Lourensford Estate.
- 9h00 depart for vineyard, forest, and fynbos tour
- Commentary is tailored to the interests of the guests and includes history, archeology,
cultural aspects, fauna and flora, with special focus on the indigenous fynbos.
- 4x4 driving involves the crossing of rivers,and steep mountain slopes
- Scenic views of False Bay
- Wonderful dam sites where the mountains are reflected in the still water
- Wine tasting in the mountains (3 wines and a liqueur)
- Collecting mushrooms when in season (March to May but totally weather dependant)
- Airconditioned Range Rover
Rates are approx. R 800 for the first guest and R350 for each further guest, per vehicle. Each vehicle seats 4 passengers. We are not VAT registered.

FULL DAY TOUR
- 9h00am start with freshly ground coffee at SWITCH coffee roastery, Lourensford Estate
- 9h30 depart for vineyard, forest, and fynbos tour
- Commentary is tailored to the interests of the guests and includes history, archeology,
cultural aspects, fauna and flora, with special focus on the indigenous fynbos.
- Mid morning and afternoon tea/coffee with snacks
- Wine tasting in the mountains (3 wines and a liqueur)
- Visit to archeological sites that date back centuries
- Guided walk through the unique fynbos
- Bathing in crystal clear mountain rock pools
- Gourmet picnic lunch, with the emphasis on local organic produce, in a riverine forest or
at a dam view site. Local wines served at lunch.
- Scenic views of False Bay
- Wonderful dam sites where the mountains are reflected
- Visit to trout hatchery
- Collecting mushrooms when in season (March to May but totally weather dependant)
- Return to winery by 16h00
